The report shows a sharp increase in profit in the first six months of the year, compared to the corresponding period last year. Order intake remains high and both sales and operating margin are increasing. This means Combitech continues to have a great need for recruitment.

Combitech reports a year of record performance with good growth and a material increase in earnings. During the year, Combitech brought one of Sweden’s first installations of private 5G mobile networks into operation and delivered a secure digital infrastructure to the maritime sector through the new industrial consortium Navelink.

Combitech has, through its partnership with Nokia commissioned one of Sweden's first installations of private mobile network for 5G for full-scale operational operation for Saab. As the use of automated processes and autonomous vehicles becomes more widespread, the number of connected devices in the industry is increasing. This requires fast, secure and uninterrupted connectivity. And this is where private mobile networks come in, which are expected to be a game-changer for Industry 4.0.

Significant progress has been made and the engineering group Sandvik has now joined the venture as a new partner that will further strengthen a joint endeavour towards sustainable underground mining at great depths.
