Combitech has, through its partnership with Nokia commissioned one of Sweden's first installations of private mobile network for 5G for full-scale operational operation for Saab. As the use of automated processes and autonomous vehicles becomes more widespread, the number of connected devices in the industry is increasing. This requires fast, secure and uninterrupted connectivity. And this is where private mobile networks come in, which are expected to be a game-changer for Industry 4.0.

To develop the digitalized, autonomous and carbon-dioxide-free mine of the future, in collaboration with other globally leading Swedish companies, LKAB initiated SUM, Sustainable Underground Mining in 2018. Significant progress has been made and the engineering group Sandvik has now joined the venture as a new partner that will further strengthen a joint endeavour towards sustainable underground mining at great depths.

Combitech, the Nordic solution and consultant partner, releases its interim report for January-March 2020 today. The reports shows stable order intake and sales. Covid-19 has had only a minor impact on earnings in the latter part of March.

Navelink is a newly formed sea traffic management industry consortium initiated by the industrial companies Kongsberg, Saab and Wärtsilä, three influential and significant maritime equipment manufacturers and service providers. The aim of the consortium is to reach a new global standard enabling scalable maritime information exchange. The consortium already has the Swedish Maritime Authority (SMA) boarded and has commissioned Combitech to deliver the infrastructure needed.
