Hello and welcome back to the second blog post in the “Diary of a Cyber Security Intern” series, in which I let you tag along on my 10-week internship at Combitech Denmark. In the last post I talked about setting you up for success before you start interning and what my first couple of weeks here brought about. I also hinted that I would start implementing and configuring an open-source malware sandbox called Cape which is exactly what I have been doing!

My name is Andreas, and I am a 26-year-old cyber security student from the Business Academy of Aarhus currently doing my 10-week internship at Combitech Denmark. This will be part of a series of blogposts describing what it means to be an intern at Combitech Denmark, and on the cyber security community in general. Since I won’t bother you with every single thing I do, each blogpost will describe one or two tasks – quality over quantity, right?
