Combitech enters framework agreement for IT security with Svenska Spel

12 February 2015

Combitech has won a framework agreement for IT security with Svenska Spel. The agreement covers three areas and is valid for a period of two years with and option for an extension.

The agreement encompasses services in the areas of information security, IT security and code checking, and will satisfy Svenska Spel's continuous needs for consulting services, including strategic consultation, investigations and penetration tests. Together with Svenska Spel's personnel, consultants will ensure that Svenska Spel's IT system has the appropriate protection and level of security.

The external demands on Svenska Spel's operations come from among others, the Swedish Gambling Authority, which also engages Combitech for security assignments. Combitech also conducts assignments from several Nordic enterprises in the gaming industry.

Having high security and availability for the services we provide to our customers is essential. We're therefore pleased that we've now established alliances with a number of specialised IT security firms, including Combitech, that can not only help us to retain the quality we already have, but also ensure that we can develop our services at the same rate as the technical development we see around us.

Hans Ohlson, Head of IT Governance at Svenska Spel.

We're proud of the opportunity to continue our collaboration with Svenska Spel. Svenska Spel has extremely high demands on security and protection of players, and that we've been selected for the framework agreement is a testimonial to the quality of our services.

Jonas Stewén, ‎Sales and Marketing Director, Cyber Security at Combitech.

The framework agreement with Svenska Spel is valid for two years with an option for a one-year extension.

Three of Combitech’s sharpest pentesters, Christoffer Olsen at Combitech Denmark, Michael Johansson at Combitech Sweden and Olav Sortland Thoresen from Watchcom in Norway explain what they do, how they do it and why their work is vital to many companies.
