Ultimately, total defence is about safeguarding democracy and the openness on which our society is built. It is therefore positive that businesses’ preparedness is strengthening and that the issue is now an established part of the public agenda. At the same time, this year’s Total Defence Report shows that levels of maturity in preparedness efforts varies, both geographically and between companies of different sizes. This uneven development risks weakening Sweden’s overall resilience, not least if smaller companies fall behind.

Even though his first assignment didn’t turn out to be a long-term match, the experience became a valuable stepping stone toward a dream role.

In 2025, Combitech continued to show strong development, with a revenue increase of 16 per cent and an operating margin of 9,6 per cent. The company continued to grow organically and recruited almost 580 new employees.
